Ryu Go Eun is a SAG-AFTRA actress based in Los Angeles. Born in Seoul and adopted into a family in Wisconsin, she spent her formative years in Barcelona — where she lived the longest, became fluent in Spanish and French, and learned what it means to exist slightly outside every room you're in. She's been reading that gap ever since.

She came to acting through the lens. Trained in cinematography, she spent years behind the camera before stepping in front of it — which means she knows what the frame can hold and what it can't. She works it without ever looking like she's working it.

Her lead performance in Stealing Jokes is the fullest picture of what she can do. She has appeared across Netflix, Apple TV+, HBO, Hulu, and Universal, and carries leading roles in theatre including The Beach and The Nether.
